Kenpo is a combination of ancient fighting techniques and modern scientific principles, a force which can overwhelm any attacker. Every block is a strike, every strike is a block. This logical and sequential flow of motion is the essence of Kenpo.
American Kenpo is a modern self-defense art, which is a method of physical and mental conditioning, created by the late Grand Master Ed Parker. He styled a realistic method of self-defense that utilizes all our weapons (hands, fingers, elbows, knees and feet) in ways that anyone can perform. It emphasizes speed, power, agility and accuracy, but requires no special strength or abilities. Kenpo movements will help develop better coordination, increased strength and flexibility.
- Our students are taught the art of boxing by developing hand speed, punching power, stamina and strong defensive skills. Students learn practical and realistic movements that work in the ring as well as on the street.
Kickboxing- In addition to devastating hand strikes, each student is taught the finer points of all the Martial Arts kicks while concentrating on power and technique. Kickboxing classes provide an incredible cardiovascular workout - keeping you challenged physically and mentally.
